mCherry

mCherry is a monomeric red fluorescent protein derived from the red fluorescent protein of Discosoma sp. [1]. The DNA sequence of this biobrick encodes a version of mCherry with an additional sequence designed for liquid-liquid phase separation purposes, followed by a His-tag. mCherry is a very rapidly-maturing monomer with low acid sensitivity.
